Hogeye celebrates community, family, famous Elgin Hot Guts Sausage and all things swine!
Brought to you by the City of Elgin, the annual Hogeye Festival is a street festival held on the 4th Saturday of October. Hogeye celebrates community, family, famous Elgin Hot Guts Sausage and all things swine! Join us as we sing along to "P-O-R-K in the USA" and “Hoofloose” while the Harleys roll in with The Elgin Sowpremes. Play Cow Patty Bingo and win fabulous prizes based on where a cow does her or his business (splatter matters in this game!). Sample the winners at the BBQ Pork contest, take a ride at the carnival, dance all day to live music from three stages. Enjoy handmade arts and crafts. Help your kids with art projects or let them ride a real pony and feed a pig. Stroll through the Road Hog Car Show. Test your aim at the ACME Brick throwing contest before you take a rest on a hay bale. The Hogeye Festival is a family community event. Hogeye provides great exposure for your high quality image to families, retirees, tweens, and twenty somethings! This is a free festival which is produced by the Elgin Main Street Board, organized by local hogunteers (volunteers) and underwritten by generous business sponsors. Join us for “a time for warm hearts and hot guts” in Elgin Texas.
