Elgin's gearing up for a holly jolly time at Holiday by the Tracks, where the Elgin Main Street Board, City of Elgin, and Elgin Chamber of Commerce team up to kick off the December 7, 2024 festivities! Expect a Christmas Bazaar, Arts and Crafts booths, and toe-tapping tunes all around.

And let's not forget about the Hot Cocoa Stroll - sip your way through town, vote for your fave cocoa, then join the dazzling lighted Christmas parade. Let the holiday cheer begin!

Join the Elgin Chamber of Commerce for our annual Hot Cocoa Stroll. Purchase your 2024 mug in Veteran's Park at our table for $20. Follow our map through our historic downtown to get a taste from our cocoa stops. Be sure to shop our Candy Christmas Bazaar highlighting over 30 vendors. Listen to holiday music by Elgin Gospel Choir and the Elgin High School Choir.  Get your picture with Santa and be sure to visit our amazing downtown businesses. Don't forget to vote for your favorite cocoas and enjoy a wonderful day of all things Christmas right in the heart of Elgin, TX.

Kids Activities

Head over to the Elgin Public Library for your kid's favorite holiday activities. The City of Elgin will have 14+ tables set up that are sure to bring the magic of Christmas to life for the younger ones.

 

Lighted Christmas Parade

Next up, you won't want to miss the annual Lighted Christmas parade starting at 6 PM. Bring your chairs and grab a spot down our historic Main Street! Sit back and enjoy the beautifully lit floats of our community and surrounding areas.  Brought to you by the City of Elgin, North Bastrop County Fire Rescue, Bastrop/Travis Counties ESD #1, and the Elgin Volunteer Fire Department.
