Each year, the Chambers of Commerce from Manor, Elgin, and Taylor come together through METT to foster regional collaboration, share ideas, and address issues and opportunities that impact our growing communities.

The Elgin Chamber of Commerce is excited to host the 2026 METT Community Conversation on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, bringing together the Manor, Elgin, and Taylor Chambers of Commerce for an important conversation about the future of manufacturing, workforce development, and education across our growing region.

The event will feature an Advanced Manufacturing Panel followed by an Education & Partnerships Panel, bringing together industry and education leaders to discuss how we can prepare and strengthen the workforce of tomorrow.
