Meet the Speakers

Olga Campos

Olga Campos Benz is one of the most honored anchor-reporters of the Texas airwaves. A University of Texas graduate, Olga spent more than 30 years covering the biggest news stories in Houston, Corpus Christi, and Austin. When she stepped down from the anchor desk, she stepped into the philanthropic arena to successfully lead the charitable efforts of an Austin businessman. Since then, her professional life has combined her interests in non-profit organizations (Community Outreach Director for Foster Community) and leading PR/Marketing campaigns (Community Development Director for Bloom Communications). She is now a Media Consultant of i-Media Strategies, the media consulting firm established by her husband, Kevin Benz. Her clients include Austin’s iconic Fonda San Miguel Restaurant, Mission Funeral Homes, the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and Delicious Tamales, a San Antonio business that is now serving Central Texas customers. She and Kevin have also been tapped by several candidates to help prepare them to run for elected office.

Olga considers herself to be a Community Advocate serving on several non-profit boards including The Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM), the Austin Film Festival, and the University of Texas’ Division of Campus and Community Engagement (formerly the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement). Among her many awards and recognition, she has been named a Woman of Influence by the Austin Business Journal, a Woman of Distinction by the Girl Scouts of Central Texas and by the Texas Association of Hispanic Chambers of Commerce. Olga is also a 2014 inductee into the City of Austin’s Women’s Hall of Fame and in 2017 she published her first novel, “It’s News to Me” which takes readers behind the scenes of the often unbelievable world of television news (Amazon Books)C. Olga was a featured author at the 2017 Texas Book Festival and is a former Advisory Board Member of the City of Austin’s Emma S Barrientos Mexican-American Cultural Center. She and Kevin are the proud parents of twin daughters, Corazon and Allegra, and the owners of three rescue dogs.

Nancy Hinojo

Meet Nancy Hinojo, an accomplished tax professional with a passion for empowering women through sound financial planning. With a background as a seasoned expert in tax matters, Nancy Hinojo has dedicated her career to demystifying the complexities of finance for women. Nancy also serves as a SCORE mentor and will share her story of building resilience for life's transitions.

Veronica Seever

Veronica is the current President of the Elgin Chamber of Commerce. She uses her strong background in business to bring focused education and quality events to her hometown of Elgin. Previously, she was the Training Manager for Hyatt Hotels where she learned the skills of being an effective facilitator. She later went into the Green Industry and opened up a wholesale nursery. She was known for her massive fabricated expo booths that earned her two awards for their designs. She later served as the President of Texas Nursery & Landscape Association and received the Young Leader Award for Texas in 2020. Last year she founded this Women in Business group, SHE and has made it her mission to build the women around her.  Veronica also currently serves as a 2024 Mentor and BizWoman Leadership Council Member for Austin Business Journal. In her time off she enjoys, reading, writing, and creating art. But there is nothing that makes her more proud, than being the mother of her 19 year old son, Austin, who is currently a sophomore at Texas A&M.

Vanessa Lindsley

Vanessa Lindsley is an Assistant Vice President of Business Development for Austin Title Company. She has worked in the real estate industry for the past five years where she has found success in helping Realtors achieve their goals and connecting people in meaningful ways. Vanessa is known for her determination and intensity and believes that everyone always has something to bring to the table in any situation. She had the honor of being voted Platinum Top 50s partner of the year in 2021. She was also nominated for the Elgin Businesswoman of the year award in 2023. Prior to Real Estate, Vanessa worked as the membership manager at the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce and she and her husband of 25 years owned and operated Fit Club Fitness. She’s a hometown girl who loves her community and fully believes that if you see a hole, don’t complain – lean in and seek to fill it! She has two kids that she calls the Dynamic Duo, Sutton, and Trinity. They are her favorite people in the world, and she could not be prouder of them. She battled Breast Cancer and won in November 2022 and knows that though we face challenges, they do not define us. In fact, they strengthen us.

Fang Fang is the Founder and CEO of Big Plan LLC, a consulting firm that offers consulting and advisory services to companies and organizations seeking global expansion. Most recently, Big Plan partnered with the National Minority Supplier Development Council, the nation’s largest and most impactful non-profit advocacy organization for minority business enterprises (MBEs) to relaunch their Global Programs. Prior to her current role, Fang served as the President & CEO of the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce. Her illustrious career spans roles at renowned institutions such as Edelman, Voice of America, and the National Committee on US-China Relations, where she honed her skills and expanded her global perspective.

Fang is an active member of her community. She was most recently appointed to the Mayor’s Task Force for Austin Women Entrepreneurs. She serves on the boards or advisory boards of various organizations, including the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition, the George H.W. Bush Foundation for U.S.-China Relations, Delta Austin Customer Council, the City of Austin Commission on Airport Advisory Commission, the Asian American Quality of Life Commission, Impact Austin, and the National Asian American PAC. She also served on the boards of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, Visit Austin, the Community Advancement Network, and Transit Forward.

Fang has been honored for her significant impact on both the business and community fronts. Most notably, Fang received the prestigious Women in Business Awards by Austin Business Journal in 2023 and was recognized as a finalist for the coveted Austin 40 under 40, underscoring her exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to driving positive change.
